Consistency is definitely paying off. Keeping calorie intake steady is working well.
I had a burning desire for pizza this weekend, but am giving myself grace to have the odd day that I ‘break the rules’.
But back on the train the following day to make sure that my next weigh-in block in a couple of weeks is a good further drop.
Picking the metric I’m watching most keenly

Visceral fat is one of the biggest issues I’m looking to address. Monitoring this was one of my motivations for getting a fancy Withings scale.
Whilst losing weight and being more active will make a difference to my fitness now, dropping visceral fat will pay health dividends in the long term.
Seeing this index come down from 7.9 to 7.3 (so far) is something I’m happy about. It’s a good indicator that the transformation will make me healthier.
