I’ve had a few days in the past week out on the road/in the air. I also find this really difficult when trying to keep on track with food.
It’s easy to operate on a diet of coffee and pastries when in transit. Finding healthy food options isn’t always the easiest thing to do.
So I had to make conscious decisions to do so. Choosing salads over burgers, fruit and yoghurt over pastries, and americanos over lattes.
The noticeable thing was that I didn’t fall back to old habits of picking up chocolate and having pastries at every turn.
The habit of looking for options that are high protein, and add fruit and veg to what I’m eating is beginning to stick. I’m the guy who happily orders a salad now.
That’s a win.
